The original property was an uninspired 1960’s detached chalet style house, albeit in a desirable location close to Chichester town centre.
Our brief was to extend and remodel the existing building to create a more attractive external appearance, while extending and upgrading the internal arrangements to provide a four bedroom family home with a more appropriate contemporary living arrangement.
The careful consideration of space and architectural details articulate the remodelled house, which maintains an intriguing dialogue between the original traditional 1960’s front façade and the contemporary feel of the new rear extension.
